1Agreement to Terms
By booking, paying for, or accepting delivery of any rental equipment from Dennas Party Rentals (“the Company”), the customer (“Renter”) agrees to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
Dennas Party Rentals currently caters exclusively to private residential and backyard events. By placing a booking, the Renter confirms that all rented equipment will be set up and used at a private residential property or backyard.
2Rental Equipment
The Company provides event rental equipment including but not limited to:
- Inflatable bounce houses
- Water slides
- Interactive inflatables
- Giant lawn games (e.g., Giant Jenga, Connect 4)
- Tents and canopies
- Tables and chairs
- Party accessories and related equipment
All equipment remains the sole property of Dennas Party Rentals at all times.
3Booking & Payment
- A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure booking.
- Full payment is due prior to or at time of delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to change without notice until booking is confirmed.
- Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of booking.
4Cancellations & Weather Policy
Customer Cancellation
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Cancellations within 72 hours of event may be non-refundable.
- Rescheduling may be permitted at Company’s discretion.
Weather
Inflatables must NOT be used in:
- Winds exceeding 30 km/h
- Lightning or thunderstorms
- Rain
- Extreme weather conditions
The Company reserves the right to cancel setup due to unsafe weather conditions. In such cases, customers may reschedule or receive credit.
Weather-Related Shutdown Procedures
In the event of adverse weather during use, the Renter must follow these procedures immediately:
- Rain: Immediately and safely exit all children/jumpers from the inflatable. Turn off the blower and cover the blower with the provided tarp to protect it from water damage.
- Wind exceeding 30 km/h: Immediately and safely exit all children/jumpers from the inflatable and turn off the blower.
The Renter agrees to continuously monitor weather conditions for rain and wind throughout the entire duration of bounce house/inflatable usage. If weather conditions change, the Renter agrees to immediately implement the weather-related shutdown procedures as stated above in this section.
Failure to follow these shutdown procedures may result in the Renter being held responsible for any damage to the equipment.
5Delivery & Setup Requirements
Customer agrees to provide:
- Clear access to setup area
- Minimum required space (as specified in product listing)
- Flat surface (grass, pavement, or suitable ground)
- Electrical outlet within 50 ft (unless generator provided)
- No underground utilities or sprinkler systems in anchoring area
If site is deemed unsafe, Company may refuse setup without refund.
6Supervision & Safety (MANDATORY)
The Renter is fully responsible for:
- Continuous adult supervision at all times
- Ensuring participants follow safety rules
- Enforcing age and weight restrictions
- Preventing roughhousing, flips, or climbing on walls
- Ensuring no shoes, food, drinks, sharp objects, pets, or silly string
Inflatables are strictly for children unless otherwise specified.
Failure to supervise properly constitutes negligence by the Renter.
7Bounce House / Inflatable Usage Rules
All users must follow these rules when using any bounce house or inflatable equipment:
- Remove shoes before entering
- No food, drinks, gum, or candy inside
- No face paint, slime, glitter, or sharp objects
- No flips, wrestling, rough play, or climbing on walls/netting
- Children only — adult supervision required at all times
- Separate smaller children from bigger children when possible
- Maximum occupancy: Maximum number of kids/jumpers at a time as recommended for your specific bounce house/inflatable. Please refer to dennaspartyrentals.ca/products
- No pets allowed inside the inflatable
- Do not enter if wet or during strong winds/rain
- Exit immediately if blower stops or power goes out
- Enter and exit carefully — no pushing
- Socks recommended; bare feet only if clean
- Sick children should not use the inflatable
- Follow attendant/operator instructions at all times
Failure to follow these rules may result in injury and will void all liability protections.
8Assumption of Risk
The Renter understands that:
- Use of inflatables and event equipment carries inherent risk
- Injury may occur including but not limited to falls, collisions, sprains, fractures, or other physical harm
By accepting delivery, the Renter voluntarily assumes all risks associated with use.
9Damage & Responsibility
The Renter agrees to:
- Accept full financial responsibility for damage beyond normal wear and tear
- Pay for cleaning fees if equipment is returned excessively dirty
- Pay repair or replacement costs due to misuse, vandalism, or negligence
Equipment must NOT be moved once set up.
10Liability Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted under Ontario law, Dennas Party Rentals shall not be liable for:
- Injuries arising from misuse
- Injuries due to lack of supervision
- Property damage caused during event
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for rental.
11Indemnification
The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Dennas Party Rentals, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from equipment use.
12Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Government restrictions
- Power outages
- Acts of God
13Privacy
Personal information collected is used solely for:
- Processing bookings
- Communication
- Service improvements
We do not sell or distribute customer data.
14Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
Any disputes shall be resolved in Ontario courts.
